Positive Pathway and Wellness Center

Alexandra Boursiquot

CRNP-PMH

Alexandra Boursiquot is a compassionate and highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CRNP-PMH). She has nearly a decade of healthcare experience. Her medical journey began in Cuba, where she trained as a medical doctor. This background gives her a well-rounded, holistic perspective on every patient she serves.

Today, Alexandra leads Positive Pathway and Wellness Center. She believes mental health care should be both clinically excellent and genuinely human. She takes time to understand each person’s full story. She listens carefully before recommending a treatment plan, and she partners with patients rather than dictating to them.

Our clinic offers trauma-informed, outpatient psychiatric care to individuals and families in Hagerstown and across Maryland. We combine psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and therapy with the flexibility of telehealth, so quality mental health care fits into your life. Above all, we strive to create a safe, welcoming space where every patient feels respected, heard, and supported on their path to wellness.

Dr. Annick Sheron Kelly

DNP, CRNP, PMHNP-BC

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood changes, and stress can feel overwhelming. Seeking help is a courageous first step. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward lasting wellness.

I’m Dr. Annick Sheron Kelly, DNP, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I’m dedicated to personalized, evidence-based mental health care. I believe every individual has a unique story, and meaningful treatment begins with listening. I take time to understand your experiences, strengths, values, and goals. Together, we create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

I have more than 13 years of healthcare experience in behavioral health, public health, healthcare leadership, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement. I bring both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to every patient encounter. My philosophy is simple: the best care is built on trust, collaboration, and respect. You’ll be an active partner in every treatment decision. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies that support your immediate concerns and your long-term wellbeing.

Whether this is your first time addressing mental health challenges or you’ve been searching for the right provider, I am committed to helping you. Together, we’ll work to find hope, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My Treatment Approach

Exceptional mental health care is about more than prescribing medication. It’s about understanding the whole person. I use a collaborative, evidence-based approach. This includes psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, psychoeducation, supportive psychotherapy, CBT-informed techniques, motivational interviewing, and practical lifestyle strategies to help you achieve your goals.

Every treatment plan is individualized because no two people are alike. I create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel safe asking questions, sharing concerns, and taking part in decisions about your care.

Healing is more than reducing symptoms. It’s about rediscovering your strengths, restoring hope, and creating the life you deserve. If you’re ready to take the next step toward better mental health, I would be honored to partner with you on that journey.

Choosing a Provider

All of our clinicians are psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, which means every one of them can carry out a full psychiatric evaluation and manage medication. You do not need to work out who is right for you before booking — describe the situation when you call and we will match you sensibly, taking into account what you are seeking help for, whether you want in-person or telehealth appointments, and how soon you need to be seen.

If the fit is not right, say so. Changing providers within the practice is straightforward, and it is a considerably better outcome than quietly disengaging from care.

What Our Providers Have in Common

Our clinicians differ in background and in the areas they most enjoy working in, but the approach is consistent across the practice. A first appointment is a diagnostic conversation rather than a form and a prescription. Medication decisions are explained, including the expected timeline and what the alternatives are. Where we are uncertain, we say so rather than assigning a label to sound decisive. And where something falls outside what an outpatient psychiatric practice can properly provide, we tell you early and help you find the right setting.

Our providers see adults, adolescents, and children, in person at 28 Jonathan St in Hagerstown and by secure telehealth throughout Maryland. New patients can usually be offered an appointment within the same week.

Appointments can be booked by phone on (240) 413-1255 or online. If you are calling about a child or a family member, it helps to have a rough timeline of what has been happening and any previous treatment to hand, though nothing is required — we can work from wherever you are starting.

If you are transferring from another practice, bring what you can of your medication history — what you have taken, at what dose, and why anything was stopped. That record frequently explains more than a first appointment otherwise would, and it saves repeating trials that have already been shown not to work for you.

We see patients in person at 28 Jonathan St in Hagerstown, serving Washington County and the surrounding communities, and by secure telehealth throughout Maryland. If you are not sure whether we are the right practice for what you are dealing with, call and describe it — where the answer is that you need something we do not provide, we will tell you plainly and point you toward the right setting.
